pac aai-nis2 install question
Quick question on the Pac AAI-nis: I am using this to connect my Sirius S50 to avoid the FM Modulator, to an '04 w/ Bose. My S50 uses power from the Cig. lighter, which is converted to 5 volts. Will I fry my S50 if i connect the blue / black wire, or can i use the pac without hooking up the blue / black wire? The Pac has two wires that I don't see myself using, this one and the yellow steering wheel output. Can anyone tell me what the blue / black is for? (this might have been a red wire on the old pac product.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the AAI-NIS has nothing to do with the power being supplied to the S50. power the S50 normally, and only the audio outputs plug into the AAI-NIS
the only thing the AAI-NIS has is a negative output when you select the AUX input. you could use this to control a relay to power on the S50, but i don't think you can directly use it to power the S50

Thanks for the info. I'm installing this weekend, and will not need to connect the two extra wires that came with it. Thanks for your help. Go Steelers.
