Hi guys I was hoping someone could help. My Sirius wire broke from the cold weather up here and I was wondering is there any way to tap into the cigarette lighter for power. Can someone explain how to do this. And also how do you get to the wires under the cig lighter.

 

To get behind the lighter, you have to take that whole panel off. There are no screws to remove from this panel,but you have to remove each B-pillar first, and then take the glovebox door off and pop the cover off the other side. It's not that hard. Can't you just splice your wire together where it broke for the time being?

I tried and it broke right at the base, there is no wire left to splice.
