Hi guys. On an install I am doing, I want to do an on/off switch for the display. I figured one cool place would be the extra hole for a third button on the console next to the seat warmer switches (Touring 2003 model).
It doesn't have to be a 3 position, just on/off (rocker or push) will do.
Anybody know a part number for a switch that will match that hole and look like the stock ones there? I am going to look around but I thought maybe somebody went through this. Thanks.

Well sort of. The guy that did my custom interior lighting drilled a hole in the blank next to the VDC switch and put a very nice black, round 2 position switch there that allows me to over ride the automatic feature of the lighting.
It turned out very nice any looks like it came from the factory that way.

I have a module that will allow you to turn on and off an aux device using the vdc/tcs switch. The vdc/tcs switch will still control your VDC/TCS system too. Let me know if you would be interesting in testing one out.

I don't really need to turn the aux device on/off, just the video display unit. A simple power on/off switch will do. I just wanted it to look like the switches already on the car...
Video unit = aux device
The purpose of the module is to provide an on/off switch without adding any switches to the vehicle, for a totally stealth installation.
Let me know if you are interested in trying one out.
good luck!

CooperZ, thansk for the valuable contribution...
KPierson, I would be glad to test one out. If you want I can PM address etc.
The device is a Farenheit 7" display in case it matters.
