Radar Cord?
^ What he said.
Tuck it under panels on the way to the fusebox. If you have to, remove a knee panel or two (usually a couple screws, then pull horizontally and/or vertically to release the usual automotive clips).
Route your ground to a bolt touching metal. If you can find an existing ground strap (a bolt with a wire already going to it) then just use that.
Route your power (12v lead) to the fuse box. Use the cig light fuse. Take the power lead, strip off a small bit, wrap it around one of the fuse blades, then stick the fuse/wire combo back in. It's switched so your detector will turn off when the car is shut off.
I recommend adding an inline fuse from Radio Shack, rated approx 1-3a. Cut the power lead at some point close to the fusebox-side of the connection and then add the inline fuse at the cut. This is an added safety. If something should ever go wrong you don't want a fiery mess running through your dashboard.
Be sure to route away from moving parts and/or feet. Use zip ties. If you have to add wire length to your detector cord, I recommend soldering and shrink wrap instead of wire connectors.
And if you're not comfortable with all that then find a friend who is and offer beers.
Good luck!

Not sure if you have a passport but this comes with the wire, and fuse.
sure you can get your own wire/fuse but for a few bucks more you can have it all done for you.

holy hell!! hahahh i never thought someone would actually do that... the 06's come with another power outlet down near the passengers feet.
I just got the straight wire (instead of the curly one) and tucked it under the plastic then took a plastic putty knife and tucked into the crack of the dashpad up to the radar detector. The only place you can see the wire is when it goes over the vent.
Yeah, mine used to look like that but I went to radio shack and bought a phone cord with the wires exposed already at the other end and hard wired it to my mirror. See the above link I think to get directions.
