Default should I put my Alpine 7678 in it??

I have my car on order and have got a Alpine 7678 (about a $450 unit, iirc) and a Blaupunkt amplifier that is 4X100 and 1X200 (for sub) w/ built in crossover (it is HUGE and use to retail for over $800), in My HONDA right now. I have a cheaper Sony amp that I could switch out real easy, BUT should I wait for a local sale at best buy or something on a CHEAP $69 CD player and get the free install and keep my ALPINE for my Z???

I originally wasn't going to bother, BUT as my Z gets closure I start to think about it more. I just thought I would be happy to have a killer car and engine trhat sounds good, and the bose would be fine, but now I am not so sure. The ALPINE really doesn't add value to a used car, so that is NO biggy.

What do you guys think???

I did not buy Bose because of my previous knowledge/experience with bose. that being said it is an easy call imo to change it out if you have it. I changed out my stock system with some equipment I had and some new stuff. I am very satisfied with it. have not received my metra kit yet. WANT TO FIND A GOOD WAY TO SECURE MY ENCLOSED AMP and I will be finished. but it sounds great to me. Will look fine too since the only difference in looks will be the HU and I am happy with hte look. That stock clarion stuff is cheap. Go for it. good luck.

thanks for the reply, I am also NOT a bose fan (actually I am a BOSE hater, I am an audiophile who knows far too much about Bose to buy anything with thier nameplate on it).

I think I will do it, actually it sounds stupid NOT to, maybe that is why noone is replying to my post??
