Anyone have the Alpine IVA-D300 or D310? (Question)

Can you play copied or burned DVD's in your head unit? I can't and I searched on the web and found a place that said Alpine placed some kinda proctection against playing copies of original DVD's! Just wondering!

Burned Dvd's will not play in the ivad310 I am not sure about in the 300.

I have the d310 and burned 3 movies onto a DVD and it played just fine.

i had the IVA-D300.

played burned DVDs, Video CDs, just about everything. in fact, i have never put something in there that it didnt play. i even put a CD (or DVD, cant remember) with burnt picture files on it and it played that.
