My new 350Z came with this unit installed after-market. I have a couple of questions:

1. Does anyone know how I can make the DVD player play DVD's while the car is in motion? I saw a thread on here where someone says it is possible, but after searching further, I did not see any specifics.

2. Can anyone recommend a good Eclipse retailer in the LA area for me to buy a Sirius tuner/antenna (with installation)?

There is a thread and post somewhere, not that long ago. Don't know what search words you are using, but try "DVD", "parking brake" or "watching". You might just have to get into Audio, Video and Electronics and scroll. If you find that Eclipse retailer or installer, they should be able to do it. HINT: I believe it all has to do with the grounding. Currently, to watch a DVD, you must stop and set the emergency brake.

 

to answer your first question, all you have to do is ground the parking wire. If you lift up your center consol, you will see that the installer attached a wire to the base of your parking brake. take that wire and ground it to your chasis.

Took me 5 minutes, just look for the wire (If I can remember I think it is green) . Mine was pushed in --where the E brake wire is, I just pulled it out and re attached to the metal on the console.
