Sirius antenna on Strut bar + Tint = Bad Reception?
hey guys, i have a sirius radio set-up in my z and placed the antenna on the passenger side strut bar. the reception is great. the question is i am planning on tinting my car and getting 20% on the hatch window. do you guys think tint will ruin the satillite signal? does the percentage of tint matter? any feedback would be great. thanks.

Perhaps with that level of tint. I have mine on the dash in the center. It's the Pioneer unit though which apearently is much smaller than most.
What I did was mount it temporarily and drove around with it for about a week before having it permenantly mounted.

I have sirius radio and nav. in the strut, with window tinting. Is your tint 3M? if so then you should not have any proplems, if it has a metalic tint then you may or maynot have proplems.
