Default Temp Gauge is not right

Temp Gauge in Digital Gauge is not right..And I don't know what to do..Is there anything I should check for?? It's like 75 outside and it's saying it's 57 all day long and it hasn't change yet..Should I just disconnect the battery and reset it that way?? And another question is when I disconnect the battery I heard I have to do something with window so I don't have to reset the position or something? Is that right? What do I have to do? Do I just open the door and disconnect?? Thanks

um take it to the dealer. And this is the car audio section of the forum. You might get more responses if you posted in the 350z general section.

If you have a service manual you could find the location of the temperature sensor and check to see if it came unplugged or something. They are usually placed somewhere in the front next to the radiator. They can go bad.
