newbie reqs help please

Default newbie reqs help please

Hello everbody , iam after some help please .
Iam removing my non bose system out of my import 350 , ive bought a sony 7700mdx double din head unit plus amp new speakers etc .
the problem is that i dont have the wiring details for the sony head unit as it was a jap imported unit .
Does any one thats had one fitted have the wiring details or know them ?

Not sure what you mean by missing wiring details. Do you mean you're missing the Sony wiring harness? Any Sony harness (even those for UKDM units) should work on the JDM unit as well.

If you meant that you do have the Sony harness but don't know which wire is for what, that should not be an issue. I installed a JDM Pioneer HU in my old car and it followed the same wiring color system as used internationally. So the wiring harness adapter I bought here in the US for my car, corresponded perfectly with the wire colors in the JDM Pioneer harness and I had no issues while installing it.
