A Pillar Garnish removal
I'm getting ready to install a Parrot CK3100 in my roadster and I think the best place to locate the directional microphone will be high on the driver's side A pillar. My question is how does the garnish (facia) remove? Is it clip held and just pop off? I assume (dangerous) there is enough room behind the garnish to run the mic wire.
Things to know when I take off and reinstall?
Thanks for the help/insight/alternate mounting ideas.

Yes it just pops off... How are you going to connect the parrot to your speakers? Do you have the Bose or not? I was thinking of getting the Parrot 3100 for my '04 Roadster Touring but I was told it wouldn't work with Bose...

Thanks.
I purchased the interface module from SDGuy, it (according to the sales literature) was designed to interface the Parrot to the Nissan Bose HU. Give me a week to receive and install and I'll let you know how well it works with the Bose.

Is there an airbag in the A-pillar? Just don't cable tie it to the airbag
In my Infiniti I tape my mic wire to the harness running down the A-pillar and avoid the airbag like the plague. Here are a couple of FX pictures which are probably worthless for use with a Z
I'm looking forward to your install in the Roadster.

I have the parrot ck3000 in my audi s4. The mic which came with the kit is not that great. I tried various places and ended up placing it with one of the supplied hooks in front the driver visor. At this location, there is still some fair amount of background noise picked up. Given that the Z is an even noiser car, I would try to place the mic as close to and in direct sight to your voice's sound waves as much as possible. Let us know how it works out. Good luck.
