With your listening preferences, you've spent too much money .. why not get a set of coax's and call it a day ?

Again, it is all subjective and a matter of what you consider too much money. Personally, I was pleased by the Focals more than the JL ZR series, Boston Comp. and Polk 6500s. The added cost of them over a lower end speaker was not significant enough to really factor into my decision making process. When I played my unplugged Eagles, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and mixed it up with some popular radio songs I occassionally listen to I noticed a larger grin on my face when I switched to the Focals from any of the other lines mentioned. That, to me, was worth the added cost.

Should have gone with the Focals. I have the Focal 165V1's and the sound quality is great...........................and these are the low end Focals, imagine what the mid level and high level ones would sound like!
