What is it you're trying to accomplish? If you don't mind me asking?

No way, sorry, it's not that big, I believe the heater ducts are behind it and visualizing it in my head, I am thinking it is closer to 3" - 4".

Also, that spot gets warm from radiant heat coming up from the transmission tunnel, HU etc., I don't think even the mac mini would want to live in there.

^hyper, what ya dont know is that the ac piping comes through there, its a relatively cool area. Now that i have my interior out, the ac blows right on that spot and the cubby is like a cooler.

I dont think a mac mini will fit. Try behind the passenger seat and running cables out of it under the carpet up to the cubby where a display would be

yeah, that thing is huge! if you remove it youd have a ton of space.

but why not go with behind the passenger seat, itll be out of the way and hidden. You can tap into the 12v power source and justrun the video cable and sound up the center console..........no space issues.
