Will the Kenwood double din DDX7017 fit?
I am pretty sold on this unit being the one for me, but according to Crutchfield it will not fit. However, I have seen a couple pics of guys with this unit. Does it fit, or does it simply require a lot of modification to fit?

Sweet, as much as I like the Eclipse 5435, I need my ipod and the Clarion has the nicest user interface, but only a 2 volt preout and worse sound quality IMO. The Kenwoods have everything I am looking for and are priced lower. Oh Yeah!!!

That is the one I was looking at, I like the upgraded DA converter and processor on the Excelon lineup. The cheapest I have seen it for is $1100 at woofersetc.com. However, I am hoping a vendor on here can hook me up for a little less. The 7017 is onsale at Crutchfield for $900, which is another heck of a deal.

Yeah, even if they can match it, I would rather support our sponsors instead. Plus, you an never discount the at cost hookup. So far my components would retail for around $3500 but will end up costing me around $1800-2000 depending on the headunit I go with.

By hitting the scan button on the screne, you choose album, artist, genre, ect...
Then you just scroll through your list. It has all the functions like the Ipod as far as random play and sorting the music.
