in-dash unit
I just installed the 7'' screen into my cubby hole, left the factory stereo in, and installed a dvd player (that i had already owned) into one of the little cubbys behind the seat (not the big glove box). In the glove box I have a play station 2.
I dont like the way the dvd player is, its very difficult to search through mp3 cds, and the remote is pretty big, and the remote has to be pointed in certain places to work. And its getting to be a pain to lift up the seat to remove or put in a cd.
If I removed the factory stereo, what should i replace it with??? It needs to be dvd, mp3, and be able to connect the PS2 to it.
ANY IDEAS AND PICTURES PELASE!!!

I want to spend up to $800-$1000. Im not sure about the single or double din, does anyone else think the single din looks kinda funny. Its a 350z it needs to look nice, not like i just put in any old stereo. What are some good options for single and double dins?

Well, a double-din DVD/mp3 unit will have a built-in monitor, so your cubby screen will be useless. Non-video double-DINs will look awesome, but of course won't play DVDs. So that leaves you with just one option I guess: a single-DIN DVD player and single-DIN CD/mp3 HU stacked on top of one another.

If i were to put in a double DIN with a built-in monitor, couldn't the upper screen be connected to it also. Probably would look kinda weird huh?
What Are you using in your picture? how much did that cost you? And also does that make it pretty easy to search through mp3-cd's?
