Had an alarm system installed today and told tech about prob with windows rolling down when door handle is pried. Tech installed a kill switch in wiring for window so when my alarm system is armed window will not go down, even if you use your key in door window stays up untill alarm is deactivated.

 

There should be a way to just disable the power window activation from the door key. There's got to be a wire and you probably just need to cut it. Can anyone with a service manual check this out? I'll just cut my wire and be on my way.

 

That's cool, what alarm system did you get? I was thinking of getting that new Viper with the lcd thing. Glad to know there is a fix to that problem.

 

I have the Autopage RS-750lcd. Almost got the viperlcd but this one had an extra feature or so that the viper didn't have and its about a $100 cheaper. The tech said he has no complaint with Autopage or Viper, both good units.
