Default Noob question: DIY HU install missing wires?

sorry, I'm pretty sure this question has been answered many times over but i have tried to search, and found nothing. pretty much i took my stock radio out of my '04 Performance, when i took the head unit off, there were 3 connectors while the harness i used only had 2 connectors, after the install of my pioneer head unit, i plugged everything back in and i'm still not sure what this third set of wires is but its unplugged and just hanging at the moment? can anyone help? BTW its a non-bose system

i attached the picture, its the white connector on top, i'm not really sure what it is but i've left it unplugged and my whole car seems to be driving and working like it did before, and while i'm at it, what is the brown connector for as well?

i apologize if this has been answered, thanks

the brown connector is for the steering wheel controls (i verified this by testing it when i had switched my factory radio out).
