I was checking out some of the 07 models that came out and noticed Nissan put a sweet looking push button in the new Altima. Was curious as to the possibility of buying the necessary materials needed from that setup along with a Intelligent key and duplicating the process? I think it would be sweet to have this in a Z and dont see why it wouldnt be possible but im not an electronics expert. Any thoughts?

Another thing is would having a turbo timer play into this or would it work much the same as the current process upon key removal?

 

The push button is a "push to start" button like the Honda S2000?

I'd still want to keep the Intelligent Key as a security precaution and just wire the push to start in series with the ignition wire.

 

Now tell me WHY you'd want to do that?

IMO its "rice" if the car dosent come with it

 

Just curious is all lol. After looking in the car after i woke up the idea quickly faded. I can ask weird questions once in awhile right ? :X

But i do think it stinks we dont have an intelligent key or one such as the new bmws have
