Can an FM modulator be plugged into car antenna where the outside antenna is connected rather than at the radio? It may be easier that taking the dash apart and there is more room to work.

 

There is nothing to taking the dash apart man, Just start by taking off the shifter trim ring, Pulling up the AC Control Pannel and then just Un-Screwing the Head Unit. Then Open the Cubby above the HU and unscrew it from there. 5 Minute Job, Tops.

If you tried to mount it in the trunk, you would have to cut the wire and crimp a compatible connector in line. Major hassle.

 

yeah you could do that...

but taking the dash out isnt all that bad
