Just went by and bought an IVA-W200 to put in the 06 Z. The installer is having a bit of trouble with it but I'll fix it when he finishes. He offered to install it for free because this is his first IVA-W200, and he hasn't even seen it on/played with one yet. I bought it about 2hr after it arived at the shop, it was going to be their demo unit but they hadn't even opened the box yet. He has 5 more on backorder right now but doesn't expect them from alpine till July.

Anyhow, anyone had any trouble installing a double-din in an 06? The way he has it installed it sticks out about .5"...I'm not real worried about it as I'll fix it later, and he is doing it for free (cost of parts). Also, anyone else have this unit? What do you think of it?

 

i did mine in my 03 and it stuck out about half an inch using the factory brackets.. i just took the brackets and drilled the holes half an inch forward and it looks money... im very very pleased with mine... be sure and buy the black box off ebay for it though...(alows you to access the menues and play video while driving, but dont watch movies and drive.. bad..)
