is the 06 headunit wiring harness going to be the same as the other years? I just bought a new headunit and was going to go down to the audio shop and pick a harness up soon. also, i know the 06 dash kit isn't out yet, but is the older model's dash kit going to fit? i know it won't look right, but will it secure the new unit in, is what i'm asking.

 

the harness is just the regular nissan harness and there is a 06 kit made by metra. fits perfect, but you will have a hell of a time taking her apart. have fun and good luck on the install

 

the harness is the same physically, but the wires are in the wrong spots. Just use the wires there, its a pain.. good luck

 

not to contradict christian655321 but thats only if you have a bose system. the harness is exactly like a normal nissan harness.

i just had my double did installed today,
the installer dont have any 06 kits in yet so had to use older metra one.. looks liek ***!!! but they wil upgrade for free whe they come in... it does hold it secure tho....

edges dont line up at all...

not to mention $400 for this install for NAV h/u and s/w amp.. and parts
