Have tried to attach a picture of Sony head unit that looks like it was made for the 350z

 

I would put the Z symbol over Sony. I'm sure Sony would also see this as an improvement .

If you do not have the dvd sat nav option Sony sceen/tv with 12 stacker DVD/CD and FM modulated sound signal. I hate remotes so if the dvd stacker could be controlled from the head unit and I suspect it can then this would be a great combo. If someone knows please let me know. Thanks

 

These are all Australian models but assume global

 

am i correct in assuming that this double din frame can be utilized to replace the bose hu w/ a double din replacement like the sony? w/ out any extra customizing?

You know, if the 7700MDX had MP3 support it'd be the ultimate HU for this car. It's pretty much the only reason I am reluctant to drop the cash on it.
