Alright by the looks of it I think I've been scammed on ebay for 500/1 and 300/4 JL amps. I paid the guy money via paypal, and after that I get no response from him.

Anyone interested in sellin a JL or PG amp?

 

Good luck on getting it back.... I had a guy scam me for an Alpine CD changer. Opened up an issue with EBay and Internet fraud.

If you are relatively new to Ebay, you may be jumping the gun. I have had items take over a month to arrive. How long has it been since you won the auction? If you feel comfortable post the auction number (or PM) it to me and I'll tell you what your next step should be. By the way you can get the seller's name, address and phone number (the idiot may have actually given his real name and address) by using this form: Ebay Seller Contact Information

 

Buy JL from an authorized dealer so you dont get bent over. Spending the few extra bucks is worth it. JL doesn't sell their line on the internet to anybody.

 

you can file a complaint with paypal. They will give the seller like 10 days I think to show proof of delivery then after that they'll settle the money issue. If you pay using credit card in paypal you can file same complaint with you card company. I did that and the guy refunded the money in like 2 days.

 

Filed 2 complaints with paypal hopefully things look up from here.
Hopefully they can supply me with some of his personal info so i can give him a call.

 

If you use the Ebay link above you should have his personal information (ie phone number and address) within a matter of seconds.

This is like the 4th ebay scam I've seen recently. Doesn't really motivate me to buy eBay anymore :\

 

i have a JL audio 300/2 doing nothing, was in my old car for about a month. i don't need it. if you are intrested let me know.

 

Here, use this Ebay link and it will let you view all of the auctions you have won for the last 90 days, but did not leave feedback for. Click on the auction description and it will take you to the old auction. Once at the auction check the seller's feedback and see if they have ripped other people off. Also get the auction number, use the link I provided above to get their personal information, and post it. Maybe you can convince one of the board members that lives near the seller to go knock on their door and ask for your amps. If they don't comply, then said board member could proceed to "trench" their lawn while shouting "Viva la 350Z!". Just a thought.

 

Unless you won the aucrtion over 30 days ago, the item should still be in your profile. other wise you can do an Advanced Search for auctions that have ended. Ebay keeps auctions up for months after they're completed. Need more help, PM...Later and good luck

yea somethings up. this guy has 23 positive feedbacks. ive emailed him over 15 times now and still no response hmm. hopefully paypal takes some action in my behalf and makes him follow through with the transaction
