Alpine W200 install question
Hello there,
I am looking for some input on installing an Alpine W200 unit in my 04 roadster. How easy it it to do yourself? I have never installed a car stereo but it doesn't appear to be too difficult. Any hints on which dash kit to use? Does it have to be modified? I have read in previous posts that the mounting holes need to be redrilled forward a little. Any other hints? Thanks in advance for any tips or input.

Do you have the bose system?
If so are you going to use the internal head-end amplifiers by-passing the bose ones, or purchase external amplifiers, or connect into the cute little bose amplifiers.
There's an available wiring harness which will solder to the Alpine connector and then plug straight into the stock harness.

did any one here installed the Alpine Iva-W200 in the nav cubby?...I mean if you don't have nav. and you want to install it there, would it work?....what if you buy the electric cubby from the web, is the cubby plug and play? I have an '06 touring coupe. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
