Default Custom speakers/Navi install

Ok so i built custom pods for the front speakers in the door and the replaced tweeters also replaced stock sub with alpine 10" and the Head unit im running is the eclipse navigation system. i bought the navi to fill in that blank storage area above the cd player and turns out, it was to deep. I did all thsi basically cuz i did want that storage area and wanted something there. AHH so pissed. all in all it came out better than i thought but now i need ideas of what i can do with that space.

oh yeah i also replaced the rear speakers with aftermarkets. i did all this more for look then sound both a big benefit from both departments.

I suggest you have a plate made to fit. Carbon fiber maybe?? I have the same problem, and I am going to have a plate made. If you go FI you can always install your gauges there!!

You might look at using the two piece '03 cubby which allows you to come from the back with the navigation screen. Don't know how deep you need the pocket to be but you might get an inch behind the '03 pocket.

yeah type r. just throw it in there. fit like a glove for me. screwed it in and then i made 2 custom screws on the bottom of that stock cover that goes over the sub. uh pics? maybe. i dont like when i do something then a month later everyone is doing it, if ya catch my drift. no punn intended. A lot of dynomatting helped a little, but the compartment really needs to be closed off.

I see some of these speaker pods on the front doors and MAN are they FUGLY. why are all of them so big.

whats the big differenece between the 03 and 05 ? Any? 2 piece? Is that all? hmm anyways i dont want a screen under a screen or vise versa. I was honestly thinking of putting the stock cd player there. That would be something no1 has. i'd hate to spend more freaking money on audio/video when im trying to work on visual (aerodynamic).
