Hey all,
I have a quick question, I went to a shop near my house to buy some JL TR speakers. I told the guy 6.5 all the way around and i got a pretty good deal on them, plus it came with a free install. After the guy was done installing them he said the back wouldnt fit a 6.5 and he had to use a 6inch. My question is does it really matter having a 6" in the rear and a 6.5 in the front? Would it sound better with a 6.5 in the rear?

the rear can go up to 6". Wouldn't make any different since most of your sound come from the front. Some people don't even use rear speaker at all. You will be fine.

 

so can the rear fit a 6.5 at all?

 

6" to fit in the stock location only.

I have 6.5 in the rear. It just depends on the brand. You will be fine with the 6" though.
