I am looking for an old thread I saw sometime back. It is where someone attached their radar detector directly to the bottom of rear view mirror. It looked very clean and professional. No wires either... hard wired through mirror wiring. I am *not* looking for the valentine detector mod where the display of the radar detector is built into the mirror part, but this had the entire radar detector (any brand) built director under the mirror.

I used search feature. Could not find anything. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Justin

go to the bottom of the page,on right hand side. scroll down to audio/video or interior. once in that section go to the search tab and put in radar detectors. i cant remember but a guy here builds those mounts out of nylon? and think he still does for like 25 dollars or so. pm me if you need any more help. as i know the frustration of this when first getting started and having aholes just bash you instead of helping

 

went ahead and searched it for you it's a mikes mount, sells them for 20 bucks email him at mike3348@adelphia.net do the search to and you find all kinds of stuff

 

I have a mount from Mike for my Passport 8500. It works great. I have
been using it for about a year. Very well made.
