Default Side Mirror Mod!

Guys I love how with a push of a button our mirrors turn in towards the car to avoid people running into them while our car is parked, squeezing into tight spots etc etc. What I thought would be really unique and uber awesome would be that our mirrors automatically open out when we turn on our car, and automatically turn in when we turn our car off without having to manually press the button ourselves to do it.. I reckon it would be a really classy mod for our cars especially when you pull up and park in front of a crowd of people and have them go "woah!"

Anyway is there anyway this can be achieved!?!?

Incase you don't know what I'm on about, I'm talking about the entire housing moving in towards to the car and away from the car into it's normal position... There is a switch on the drivers side door to control it. But i'm talking about the mirror housing to automatically move in towards the vehicle when the car is turned off and back out when the car is turned on...

I hope this clarifies everything.

Thanks,

Hi guys,

Not many know but only the Right Hand drive 350Z have the folding mirror option.
Already from the first year production models. So in UK, Australia and Japan this is considered as normal. The activation button is located right below the mirror adjustment ****.
To convert for Left Hand drive units you need two complete new mirrors with "folding motor", control unit and button with control panel. However the LH drive control panel with button is NEVER produced by Nissan.

WTH...if they're already making it why not extend the feature to ALL the Z's...that's such BS, just another way Nissan short changed us...

Kind of like how some other countries get standard rear fog lights and headlight washers on other vehicles. We get jipped in the US.

That's the last straw...I'm selling mine.

Ok, not really. But, you'd think that little things like this would be standardized.

That'd be nice, but honestly, when have you ever had no consideration for your ride that you park in such an insanely tight spot as to risk someone actually smacking your mirror? European streets need this feature because of the narrow roads. And honestly when have you ever been in a position to need headlight washers? My uncle has a Benz and they have not once ever used the head light washers. So its basically want vs necessity guys.

Having the fold-in mirror option would be nice for when you are going through an automated car wash. You know, for those of you that drive your cars through those things
