Hey guys, I have a quick question for you guys. I recent just got a Viper Car Starter installed and I might have a problem. I noticed that after driving, my key and key hole gets noticably hot. When I say noticably hot, I mean you could throw it into a pair of cargo pants and feel the heat. Is this normal or is this something I should be worried about.

 

That doesn't sound right to me. It's probably worth your time double-checking the wiring and trying to figure out what part is heating up. It could be something is wired wrong, or you could have a defective part. It would kinda suck if something melted or caught fire while you were on the road somewhere.
