i have the passport.....many reviews say thats the V1 is 1. and passport is 2. my passport has worked like a charm from the couple weeks ive had it. on the freeway and in the town its gone off regularly with k and ka radar. so i would recomend getting the passport if you cant afford the v1.

Belltronics...I don’t remember the model. But I can say it has saved my *** MANY of times. Has anyone had any experience with the Rocky mountain phazer 2 radar jammer? Its suppose to jam radar and laser. They guarantee it and will pay for any ticket you get within the first year. They advertise it on one of the local radio stations every day. I Think it will be my next investment. You can do a 60 day trial for $60 bucks and if you don’t like it you send it back and get your money back.

Getting a V1 next week. Hope that vote counts

Do plenty of research. I've lurked around the forums on www.radardetector.net daily for the past two months. You will learn a lot there.

Thumbs up V1

V1 all the way!! I integrated the remote display into my ashtray to keep things out of sight at night.

x50 all the way. + i like the blue, it looks much better imo.

<flame suit>from what i saw when i was in the market. the passport was the best in most cases, but a few even said they edged out the v1 for just simply the arrows...</flame suit>

mine has saved me plenty and has amazed me at times. over hills around curve with trees on both sides on the interstate, AND probably over a mile away and still going crazy????(that happened last week) i had PLENTY of time

I couldn't agree more. That's why my V1 is blue.

i have to agree with many of the people on this thread- i'm very pleased with my v1. it's kinda pricy, but so are tickets (recently got one in my other car where i don't have the v1- grrr)...

Nothing by RMR or Rocky Mountain Radar will jam laser or radar and their radar detection sucks.

Here are some videos of all RMR products not jamming anything:

Just what we need.... a product made by a bunch of greedy corporate interests. I'll take the product made by the guy who knows what he's doing and trying to make THE BEST RADAR DETECTOR on the market. Remember price is only relevant until you get a ticket!!!!! I won't ride w/o my V1!!!

I have a V1 and 8500. After extensive use of both, the V1 stays in my car and the passport went to my wife.

I've got the 8500 and I wish I had the V1 simply for the arrows. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to know where the radar is so I can tell if that motorcycle that just pulled in behind me is the cop or if he's sitting on the hill that just came into view ahead of me.

Some silly whistler from bestbuy. Hardly useful but i've been driving this car for 2+ years without any tickets so I guess it is useful?
