Check your ground. I had the same thing happen to me the other day. Everything was working until one day I noticed that something didnt sound right. I have my amp mounted in the space behind the drivers seat. First, I checked the remote wire to make sure it was getting a signal, it was. I even went out and got a new amp, figuring this one was toast. Then I decided to see if the ground was good, so I placed the wire on another piece of metal, and everything started working. I'm using on of the tabs hanging down in that compartment as the ground. I'm thinking the small amount of paint is affecting it.

it sounds like the amp man...your amp could be overheating or getting ready to die
