Default alarm install help finding WIRES: viper 791xv

So I am half way done with my alarm install. The car works and the alarm works (shock sensor) as well. Ignition is hooked up, siren, door unlock and lock. I used the stickied thread below to find most of the wires as well as the dei viper install instructions. (https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video/171725-wiring-color-code-guide-for-350z.html) However, I am having trouble finding the following wires according to the dei viper manual:

+/- door drigger >>> I can't see the white wire and pink wire on the bcm.
Is the pin different?
+/- parking light output>>>> according to the stickied thread, it is in the
drivers side kick panel and the wire is red/blue. Whick harness plug is the
drivers side kick panel.
ALSO is our door trigger positive or negative?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What year is your car? The BCM changes from year to year, so the pins will be in different places if you don't look at the right year.

The parking light will be a red/blue like you think, but it is NOT in a harness iirc. I believe it runs from the IPDT under the hood to the rear lights. In the kick you will find a large bundle of wires running to the back of the car. Look in that loom and you'll find your parking light wire.

The door trigger is a (-), so use the green wire on the Viper alarm for door trigger (Tape off the purple one, you won't need it). You must diode isolate each input - 2005 pins 62 and 12, 2004 pins 14 and 10, 2003 pins 14 and 10.

Good luck!

Might wanna read up on how to wire two diodes!!!

When I install diodes I typically will use a short 5" jumper wire. I'll solder the jumper wire to the wire in the car, and then the diode to the jumper wire, it makes it MUCH easier. In this situation you would put the striped side towards the door pin wire. You would then connect the two 'non striped' sides to the (-) door pin input on the alarm.

This seems like a good read. What do you think? Is Radio Shack a good place to buy some diodes? Btw, thanks for the help!
