Installed 10" sub in my ZR!
When I sold my Accord a few monthes back, I decided to take out my sub and amp and install it in my ZR. I figured the install would be cheap and easy since I already have a stock 10" Bose sub.
I follow my G friend's advice and took my car to Sound Advice in Mission Viejo, CA. My friend told me a lot of G drivers took their cars there. Bad idea. They didn't know that the stock sub was a free-air (so no box) until they took it out. So I went home with my sub mounted without a box since there was no time to build the box in one day.
After a bit of reseach, I followed Scott Webb's recommendations and went to Automotive Entertainment in Santa Monica, CA to install my sub. They built Scott's ZR for the LA Auto Show a few years back.
Automotive Entertainment did a clean job and the sub sounds great! Here are some pictures...
Finished product with stock grill on...

Finished product without stock grill

The new 997 turbo that was at the shop

The Flying Spur that was at the shop

I highly recommend the shop...
