Moved System from old Car to new Car
I moved my comp. speakers, amp, and headunit from old car to my new car (z). I previously used a multimeter to tune to amp to the proper setting to match the preamp voltage on the HU. If im using the same equipment but just in a different car, would I need to re-tune or am I just good to go?
Im thinking im good to go, only real difference is the amount of voltage the amp is getting because of the different battery. Just want to confirm.
Thanks!!

Output voltages will differ if the supply voltage is changed, but I wouldn't expect any drastic changes though. In this case, whether the sound system is in one car or another is irrelevant. What matters is that the power source for your HU and amp are the same. If they were intune with eachother in one vehicle, they will still be intune with eachother in another vehicle as long as no settings have been tampered with. On another note, you make see either an increase or decrease in amp output depending on whether your new vehicle has a higher or lower amperage output from it's power supply.
Thanks thats good to hear nothing needs to be changed. And your right, there was increase in the amp's output because of the stronger power supply. Right on the money!!
