I just bought this 03 touring, and I've searched with no luck about this sub problem. It didn't work, so I opened
the enclosure took the sub out, and wiggled the wires with no luck. Then all of a sudden it came on. Worked for about 2-5 minutes and cut off again. I moved all the wires around with no connection ever occuring. Does anyone know what is causing this to happen?
Thanks

^you're right, my girl has one and it puts my blowse to shame. I'm addin the infiniti bass link, its an easy and cheap install that will sound great in the coupe. they retail for $300 but you can find em online for $200. they also will fit where the bose sub went if u wanna keep the limited space you have as it is.
as per your problem cant help ya, sounds like a connection problem. if u just bought it bring it back and complain about it.

One of, if not THE, best all-around (affordable) OEM system on the market The most likely scenario is that the tinsel leads (aka the wires from the basket to the cone/coil) are worn over time. Cheap OEM systems rarely coat these, and over time, yes only 3 years, or hard use .. these fatigue and fail quite often. You can put a spot of solder on there if this is the case ... just be careful not to burn the spider.
