Default Antenna amplifier

I'm replacing my Bose system. What do I do with the antenna amp? Is it part of the Bose stuff? If I do get rid of it, do I need a new cable from the antenna to the HU?

Jusst wanna make sure I have all the parts before I get started.

Tx

If you ditch the antenna amp, your FM reception will suck. You will need to supply it with a 12vdc pwr source to turn it on.

Is the antenna amp part of the Bose system or always there? The new HU doesn't say anything about using an antenna amp.

the antenna booster is always there, independent of the Bose system or any of its components
