Talking Just installed my system

Just finished intalling my system after a week of torture in the heat. The head unit is a Kenwood DPX701 Double-Din. In the doors is a set of Boston Acoustics Pro60 components mounted in Nazars door pods (wraped in vinyl). The tweeters are axis mounted with the mids, then I put the type-M imaging system molded into the factory location. They are powered by a MTX 342 amp. Then in the hatch I have 3 10W6v2's in Nazars triple ten box (wraped in vinyl). They are powered by a MTX 81000d, which is feed by 0 gauge stinger power cable to an Alumapro 15 farad Cap. Then I have a soundstream 7 inch monitor in the factory cubby ran to a XBOX 360 mounted in the glovebox. The amps, cap, relays, power inverter and other misc peices are mounted in the factory bose sub location hidden from view.

Attachment 115123
^heated seat control moved over and Bass control **** custom mounted in empty slot.

Conclusion: I am very pleased with how the system turned out, I think the install is very clean. Ive heard of people having problems with the way the bostons sound, but my set up is very clean and sounds exceptional-even at high volumes. With help of the bass **** I can dial in the bass to match the highs or turn it up to shake the neighborhood.

Very nice install. Question though, is there a place to buy
the 03/04 cubby that slids in the dash? Is that what you did?

Nice setup How do you like the Pro60's? Personally I think they sound kinda hollow. I had a set of the previous 6.5Pro's and loved them, except the tweeter circuits would overheat and shut them down when I'd have them cranked Now Z6's, those are the shizzle

His door pods came from the member NAZAR or you can goto his website, I think it's WICKEDASS.com. I have a pair of his 6 1/2's door pods on my car and you would not beleive the difference. Well worth the money and looks factory (mine are wrapped in vinyl to match the door).

Nice install bro!! I'm hoping to do mine very soon (I've had the stuff for it laying around since I bought my 03 Z).

BTW here's where to get the door pods http://www.wickedcas.com/main.htm

I think www.wicked***.com is something entirely different.

I like the Pro60's, plus i have the imaging system and it sounds very clean. I still think I can make it sound better with a little more tuning.

Very clean..I really like the bass control switch.. I mounted mine inside the center console for stealth reasons, but I really like how you incorporated it into the console with no decals.
