Default Stock speaker size

Can anyone tell me what the stock front and rear speaker size is for 2006 Base model!

6.5s all around, but remmeber not to get very deep speakres or ones with big magnet structure, they will have a harder time fitting.

alpine type Rs for example, even with a spacer, you will barely clera the window and you may run into front of the speaker rubbing aginst the door panel

Do I need to buy pods, and how deep can I go?

I like the one that element designs have, I wonder if they are to deep?

just get some spacers from zenclosures....(he sells them on ebay) and they were perfectly. i have jl aido XR650-CSi put in and it fits really well.

I guess if you wanted to be cheap and lazy you could punch out the old speaker and use the frame as a spacer

Boston Acoustic makes a 6.5" door speaker for this problem. The speaker is made shorter so that it fits with no problem.

+1 I have them with my Infinity 6010cs references and they work perfectly. I had thought about destroying the OEM fronts but, I didn't see how I would attach the Infinity's to them. The spacers just provide a much more solid mount.
