Does anybody have a favorite type or one they believe to be the best for around $200.00 or less. Im looking to get one within the next few days but im not sure what to go with i would normally just get a viper but right now im on a budget and dont have the $500.00 to shell out. I need one with an lcd display and paging so it alerts me if my alarms going off.

I just went with the Compustar 2W900FM-AS. I also added a remote start module, with motion sensor (perimeter & interior). From eBay for $229.

 

Yeah, but how much is the install price? Most installers charge more when you don't buy the product from there store!

 

Is your vehicle an auto? Most alarm shops won't install a alarm car start on a manual vehicle. Compustar is the only legal one for manuals, FYI!

 

I'll be doing a DIY install with the help of forum members who have DIY. Compustar has authorized dealers who will install it for you. Even if they didn't sell it

 

I'm an auto so thats not a problem i was lookin at the AGA2501 and it seems pretty sweet im not sure what to look for though. But i talked to the company thats selling it to me and they said they would drop down the price if i got a group buy going. So tell me what you guys think about that and if you think i should get it. If any of you are interested we could all get one and save a little money.
