I've been hearing some tech where you can install a computerized camera inside your car, with an ip address, so you can log with your cellphone to check the stat or your computer. $40 bux per month is very steep.

 

Those guys with paging alarms do you also have the siern going? Do you really want to confront some idiot face-to-face? If it's a kid looking for a joy ride then a siern is likely to work - a proffessional looking to strip your car isn't going to be phased. And who knows how either is likely to act when confronted.

I've got a starter disable, the stock alarm, and park my car day and night under armed guard. During the day where I work we have armed guards .... at night the car is in my attached garage and kept locked there too - and California has a home-is-your-castle law. I don't know if I'd shoot someone trying to steal my car.
