Stereo system *finnaly* complete *and* alarm upgraded
Here is a semi before pic
amps and black carpeted sub box
Here is the new look, sub box re- carpeted and stealth amp rack made with pop up handle to open
closed
open, amp shrouds painted and added
There are other details on my website, such as pics of the factory sub compartment that now holds two 1 farad caps and a Pioneer XM Tuner completly stealth.
I am not gonna post much public stuff about my alarm other than battery back up that requires key to shut off, perimeter radar (2003 version works awesome!) and a nice touch is a BLUE led in the center of the dash above the guage pod. Factory LED still works too!
Comments, opinions, slams, flames?
Next up track slips. Then I can rest. Oh yeah I need pulley's and headers but I'm broke

The spare jack and pretty much the whole trunk was gutted and redone.
I have road hazard warranty on my new tires and rims and a cell phone. Just tow me to America's tires please
Thanks everyone, it's hard to really get the full effect of someone's system by pics, it looks real sweet in person.

Nice security !
I carry a Glock36 .45ACP...that provides me with an extended level of protection for my ride and upgrades. It fits nicely in the spare compartment behind the seat.
Don't worry, I have a permit to carry it...

Nice choice, 45 is the way to go especially a quality one that is not too heavy.
It's your 2nd ammendment right as far as I am concerned. As soon as I saw that hidden compartment I smiled real big. That area is also used by me for "security" purposes but most times the 45 is on my hip.
In that pic is a Ruger GP-100 357M and a Sig P220 45 ACP.
Plus I have about 500 rounds and 25 for the shotgun.
You can get ammo real cheap and tax free in texas for example, a box of 50 rounds of Federal Premium Hyrdrashock Hollow Points in 45.acp for 19 bucks.
But back to car stereos.

For those with dial ups
The forum has been a little slow on my Cable connection lately but seems to be getting better.
Here is a better direct link to my gutted trunk with old amp set-up
And here is a better shot of the amps after the shrouds were added and painted and the new trunk look.

The alarm remote might be a giveaway for those interested in a good after market alarm with radar perimeter protection that does windows et al and has a big blue LED (for those with Daytona Blues.) As the thief gets within radar range the blue LED really gets bright and starts flashing rapidly (the LED alone gets your attention) but it also will softly chirp at them before I come and loudly bang them upside their head LOL J/K?? No, really..
