I'm using a Zapco PX, which I bought from Tiawan, couldn't find a new one here in the states. Make a big difference in sound.

I had a Zapco L150 and a matching equalizer back when I owned my 'cuda. I had the system laid out on a brushed aluminum panel. 30 years ago there wasn't anything like it with military quality circuit boards and components.

Yeah I was in the Navy serving in Japan and got a nice $18,000 re-enlistment bonus so I told my folks to sell the car before I got home and blew the money on the car. I ended up investing in savings and loans right before they tanked and I lost all but $3700.

If you can find Zapco. GET ZAPCO! Alpine has good sound quality, but I personally question their quality and durability. I've just had way too many problems in the past with them across the board. Infinity, Im not quite sure but Ive heard their high end speakers are the best they have.

Anyways. Zapco, is incredibly hard to find but have made some of the best sounding, power efficient, high power, and durable amps I have ever had the experience to own and install. I've only ever had experiences with their high end amps, so I rather limited, but Zapco seems to be one of those mythical creatures in car stereo. Their power is legendary and they are RARE to come across.
