^^^^^^I take it thats a Sirius antenna? Does that thing get good reception. BamBam has the same one and he hates the thing.

 

I tried monting my XM micro antenna under the strutbar plastic, and the reception was awful. I dont know if its because I have the windows tinted on the rear hatch. It doesnt make sense since its already under the strut bar interior plastic...
Best thing you can do is try a few different locations and dont mount it permanantly untill you find a good spot that you like, and is in an acceptable location for reception, once you find that spot, route your wires.
I ended up using the same location as USN HM 350Z for the XM and the dashboard for the GPS antenna no issues..

I mounted mine inside the third brake light.

 

I actually mounted mine under the rear hatch, right next to the hinge. It picks up great reception since its mounted to metal, its hidden, and the wiring was easily tucked into the trim all the way to the dash.

 

Well I put mine under the strut bar but I may consider getting the micro antenna and mounting it in a diff place.

 

Pretty simple, but the matched paint looks nice.
