Just as long as its compatible. Try sending them an email to find out or get the model number and call Panisonic to find if it works.

Why wasn't the brain removed with the head end?

this is from a used car at my work from the auction. the previous owner (or somebody) took the brain and amp, but left the hu, sub and door speakers. our dearlership had another hu put in to make the speakers play, so i have the panasonic bc it is pretty much useless without a brain. i was just wondering if i can make it work, or if the "security" feature will not allow it to commnicate with a different brain.

I have spoken with a panasonic rep, and he could not give me a definate answer. he had never tried to get hu A to work with brain B. i was just wondering if anyone had done this, or seen a replacement brain work with an original hu. i just want to know if this hu is worth keeping, or is it a $600 paperweight.........

From what I understand. The link below is for the brian of the model HU that you have. Just type in the name and model of your HU on ebay and compare part by pics. but be quick this auction ends in alittle over an hour.
