Default Need amp suggestion

Running Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 in front (100rms, 400peak) and Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1d (350rms, 1400peak). Want clean, reliable power and needs to have the filters needed for everything to sound good, of course. Money isn't that big of an issue, but it should be under $500. Thanks.

you looking for one amp or two.? Class D for the sub? Bridging acceptable? You are either going to get one nice amp or two mediocre ones for that $.

By a JL Audio 5/500 amp. You will not be dissapointed. I bought mine for $535.00 shipped on-line.

Its perfect for running a single 10 and don't let anyone tell you that 250 watts rms is not enough power. Its plenty for your Kappa Perfect.

The only exception is if your trying to drive a JL W7 or Alpine Type X or some power hungry monster. But for the majority of 10 inchers you will get the full potential with 250 watts.

Watch, my know-it-all Nemisis JIMRHIT will no doubt chime in and contradict me.

dls A5 is a beast, i have a single A5 powering my entire car but at below 500 you are going to be looking at ebay...whcih i suggest staying away from due to a rash of fake dls gear popping up...

but its your choice of course..

i think for your needs, the RA30 is a good fit...

I like that 500/5 too but think you may spend much more than $500 if you're going to get one from a reputable dealer.

I was thinking of using one early on to prevent having to run more wiring and trying to find space for 2 amps.. But I always wondered about the 250W. I was going to use the rear 25w as mid-bass (300hz and down) with the 6.5s

If it is anything like my current JL amps (500/1 and 300/2) it will have plenty of power though. Their amps are rated low to emphasize their low THD.
