Default I want to use factory bose radio with JL amp & sub

I have a JL W7 and JL 500/1 amp and I would like to wire it to the factory Radio. I wired these to my Factory Acura TL Bose with no problem (i just needed a RCA converter). But I have Navigation in my Z and was wondering if that is going to complicate this?

Thanks
Rich

You can buy a line converter and pull the signal from your existing subwoofer connection. I think a few people have done it here.

I did the same thing before I had everything replaced. It works fine, no problems

Don't go cheap on the converter. I highly recommend using a Soundgate converter. The Soundgate device is designed to be wired in after the Bose amp and can handle 100watts of input power per channel. This device then converts the high level signal to RCA at 5 volts. These devices are really clean and since they do not use transformers which can create hum. They cost about $80.00. You will also need a low voltage trigger device wired to one of the rear speakers to use to turn the amp on.

Another option for a LOC is David Navone Engineering - it was suggested to me on ClubRSX.com back when i was adding an amp to my factory Bose system in my RSX - worked great and I am going to add the same one to my Z as soon as I get a sub to go in my Zenclosures box.

While I am a little biased, a 3Sixty may be a little overkill to just add a subwoofer but don't let that stop you from using one
