Are you absolutely positive that I need a coverter of some sort. I just got off the phone with crutchfield and they said I 100% do not, because only some bose systems have individual amps on the speakers, and in this case we don't? Just want to make sure I'm ordering the right stuff online here..... thanks! Also, with the stock subwoofer, how is that ran with the stock wiring, is it just connected with the rear speakers, or does it have its own connection? I'm hooking up the Kenwood KDC-MP528 that I have here, just want to know of any roadblocks I'm going to run into during the process....

You don't need it, however it is recommended that you replace everything. I currently have an aftermarket stereo, sub/amp, and stock BOSE subwoofer speakers and amp. Just buy the metra wiring harness and your good to go.

Metra?
The metra wiring harness does the same thing as the peripheral correct? I just got off the phone with a local shop and the they recommended metra also. It's 20 bucks vs 100 for the peripheral. They said the metra sounds better anyhow, cleaner.
