I fear this has been addressed before, but i didn't find it in search.....I was curious if i was to pop off the little silver plate on the left spoke of my steering wheel, would i find the harness for the radio controls? And if so can i just buy the controls and new plate from the dealer and be good to go?? I have the Bose 6disk/tape deck system. Thanks!!

on the '06 all the steering radio controls are located behind the radio on the brown plug, I don't think you want to mess with the steering wheel cover since all the wires I think go connected to a converter, and from there to the radio, and you have to tap the signal after that unit. My advice, just remove the radio and tap the brown plug.
