Hey guys,

I'm trying to install a xenarc 7" widescreen into an 03 cubby. It was obvious i'd have to remove it from the case which I did. Now, however, I can't seem to line it up good. it looks like on the left side of the touchscreen part the ribbon cable sticks out a bit causing it to not go over all the way to the side. I can see the offwhite/beige trim around the screen. Do I dremel the side of the 03 cubby a bit to make room?

If anyone's fit a xenarc well and can give me some pointers I'd appreciate it!

Also, what's the best way to go about securing the screen in the cubby?

 

on this note, i am planning to buy the same screen to fit into a 2006. i either will need to source a 2006 nav cubby or dremmel the existing stock cubby.
any help greatly appreciated.
