Default ****Alarm Issue****

I like the stock alarm and keyless entry stuff, but Im having this reoccuring problem were for no reason at all the alarm goes off. Sometimes over and over and sometimes it will not happen for days. Whats wrong with this thing or . . .

I have a viper (the top line one) w/ report start, all the expandable buttons, hatch pop, doors, windows that I can switch to. But are any of the Z's window modulals or hatch latch able to work with the aftermarket stuff.

Need some help or opinons with this, whats the fix for this stupid thing or should I switch to the viper unit

Also I would be as pissed if the alarm didnt flash my brand new 8000K HIDs,
what a dumba$$ that thought it would be smart to flash the HIDs blubs

anyway

Thanks

T

I have the Viper 791XV and dont have any issues. When your alarm goes off, is it windy out? I know if the impact/motion sensor is set to high that the wind could set it off. Wait a minute re-read your post, are you having proplems with the factory alarm or the Viper unit?

If your OEM alarm is going off randomly most likely it is caused by the hood pin. Open the hood, inspect the wiring and also the fitment of the sensor itself. If it is loose, or if the wires have any corrosion on them then there is your problem.
